Another cold morning warmed up with hot food for breakfast. Worship and devotions were held at the Valley Baptist Retreat. Our devotion theme continued from Romans 1:16, “I am not ashamed “.
We then hit the road going southeast to the border crossing in Brownsville. The crossing went smoothly and we proceeded to the Magdiel Bible school. This is a three year school with about 50 students who reside there. Power Ministry had its start at this school about 50 years ago. We split into three groups with each going to a different classroom. We spent a couple of hours getting to know each of the students, including praying and worshiping with them. We gave each of the students a nice hooded sweatshirt.
We ate a special lunch which featured hamburgers (a definite hit with the students). We then hit the road back across the border, stopping at a Mexican restaurant in Texas for fajitas. We did a lot of eating on trip!
Tonight is packing up time as we head home tomorrow morning.
