Group 2 Day 6 Power Prayer January 19, 2025

Another wonderful meeting of the men (20 of us).

We reviewed the Bible story when Peter performed a healing miracle… “in the name of Jesus get up and walk” Acts 3. Then also the prayer of Jabez.

We prayed… and oh we prayed for family and friends… and then we sang a the song “Lord, I Need You!”

Praises

We are thanking God for a great day of worship and ministry combined.

Thankful for Hector and Mary Lou at Senda de Vida and their ministry to migrants.

Prayers

We each lifted very big asks of God… and an individual praise one by one by one.
 
Group 2 Day 5 Power Prayer January 18, 2025

The team focused on prayers for “the least of these”…

Praises

Men gathering in smaller groups and praised God for the opportunities, Joy Tour, Festival, Framing.

Also, know that we continually pray for our family and friends at home.
 

Group 2 Day 4 Power Prayer January 17, 2025

Praises

Magdiel experience was magical! Thank you Lord Jesus for these students of the Word of God.

Prayer
We are praying for Arnaldo, the school director for health and complete healing from anything affecting his prostate.

Dave – Praying that God will fully heal Jennifer Alcala (3rd year student) and that she will sing as well as ever before. Restored voice. Complete healing.

Dustin – Christina and Azalea (wife and daughter) accosted by strange person. Praying for safety for them and particularly the Christian school Azaleea attends.

Praying for three students in the Bible school, especially one who is deaf and wants to serve God, another feels called deaf ministry in India, and another

Praying for every man’s marriage.

Praying for the lost in our families… brothers, mothers, fathers, and that we would be God’s proper instrument!

Praying for the marriages and families of the men on Power this week

Praying for strength, endurance, and the hand of God to work in the hearts, minds and lives of the Power leadership.

Group 2 Day 3 Power Prayer January 16, 2025

Praises

Loving the connection with other men on this trip and friendships developing.

Lulu got to go home!

Diane Mills recovery from foot surgery. Thank you, Lord, she is home.

Cid LeDuc – is doing much better.

Thank God for safety on our trip, driving, working, health, without injuries.

George, with heart problem was released to return home.

Deep and fruitful and fascinating conversations in the van.

The pew project was completed!

The joy tour was wonderful sharing our testimonies with men in recovery and elderly women in the community center. Dave’s story of his Aunt was wonderful.

The Chavez house is getting close to being completed. Scotty Thon presented quilts to the family.

Men’s group leader and friend lost his mom. Friend is back at work (Derren’s friend)

Rich and in-depth conversations. Praise for getting to know one another better.

Glory to God for finding a place for mom’s memory care facility and good transition.

Weather has been wonderful.

In awe of how smooth things are going.

Just glad to be here.

Prayer

Ed – Praying for continued success in our ministry.

Doug – for Brad’s salvation and my boldness to talk with him at the debrief

Scott L. – May God help us connect at a heart level with the students at Magdiel even with communication languages.

Scotty T. – Praying for the hurt, sick, weak; leadership team;

Derren – praying for my son to return to the Lord and join Power Trip next year.

Paul – Asking God to touch Peter’s heart and come to know Him and fulfill his promise when God did a miracle.

Nathan – outpouring of the Spirit and healing and God be glorified

Aaron – long time friend who isn’t a believer. May God touch his heart and use me to share my faith with Steve.

Bill – Feeling so good about how things are going.

Brian – 2.5 yrs old Emmie, granddaughter – learning and speech issues. May God give parents wisdom and insight.

Clark – 44 year old son, recovering from alcohol, attending church

Avi – my mother in law lost her brother; May Maria share her faith with others in boldness.

Tom – Praying for his daughter with first grandchild. Protect her and the baby. God make a way for them to live in Corona.

 

Group 2 Day 2 Power Prayer January 15, 2025

Praying for missionary Francisco Fuentes wife Lulu’s healing.

Dustin – Praying God will continue to use me this week. I might be a vessel for His will. And discernment to act as a blessing and encouragement.

Nathan – Entering into a season without strife but God’s blessing.

Doug – Kai, encouragement and that his business endeavor is capitalized

Scott – The blessings that accompany a life fully surrendered.

Derren – A soft heart for his mother-in-law, love and empathy. Asking God to reveal to her personally her godly purposes.

Shane – Feel fully present for the remainder of the week with all the responsibilities of a senior pastor. Comfort for Charlene as she grieves the loss of both parents.

Paul – Praising God for using a Skil Saw for first time and making good cuts. Desiring to please God with purpose each day.

Chris – Wanting to continue with discipleship as a retiree. Praying for whom he might mentor. Asking for wisdom to lead the team. Desiring that Daniel (son) would place his faith back into God. Wanting an openness from the sons to talk about God.

Vince – Praying for wife’s (Delphina), mom’s (Vera) gall bladder issues. May God grant her strength.

Avi – Praying for a man he met named Gerardo to accept Christ. Praying for a miracle for his Granddaughter who is suffering a blood disease. Camilla “Gali”.

Dave – Praying for his lovely wife’s complete health and recovery of pain from broken ribs. Doctors are not providing information. God, may You show Your kindness and heal her (Laura).

Ed – Praying for pastor Tim Ehlers at the new ministry headquarters in Acuna (Mega Mission). Desiring to be a soul winner and have spiritual conversations with people around him. Not to be complacent.

Tylor – Praying for his wife to minister to the woman who lost a six-month-old child. Asking God to show care and compassion on Chuck Cram. Howie Tomlinson who has cancer.

 

Group 2 Day 1 Power Prayer January 14, 2025

The men enjoyed the largest prayer group we’ve seen and shared heartfelt prayers for friends and family and the people of Acuna.

Vincent Neukirk’s mother (Vira) has kidney problems. Healing from God.

Dave Johnson would like family members to discover and come to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Jose V. – wife’s grandma (Guadalupe) has serious issues with blood clot in brain cavity. Encouragement for the family.

Scott Thon – Praising God for love and grace.

Doug Husen’s niece Jenna “Marshall” is confused as a young girl. Praying she discovers a relationship with God.

Everything at home to be at peace. May God limit calls from tenants be small and not interrupt the mission. May the problems be resolved without.

Doug Wible – praying for this group to be in harmony, unified, and every man will have an experience with God. Chuck Cram deals with ALS; May God extend his days without pain. Howie Tomlinson received a lung transplant but cancer is affecting his body. Healing!

John prays for all of us to “serve well”; be healthy during this trip.

Derren – Pray for Paul who will receive biopsy results tomorrow (Asking God for clear results); Life Group leader needs strength to return to work and do well.; Wife’s strength to care for her mother.

Josh – continued healing of wrist to serve the Lord; finances as he attends school.

Scott Lips – Mother-in-law who is 90 is on his heart; early dementia and exhibiting some difficult emotions and hard for Scott’s wife and the relationship.

Nathan – praying his brother Perris would come into the kingdom. That during this trip that signs will accompany the work we do.

David – Major changes ahead in ministry. Mark W. 64 who serves in the church, struggling against Cancer- finally passed. Wife Lisa and the family needs comfort.

Ed Fredota – eldest daughter’s pregnancy with third child. May God protect the baby all through pregnancy.

Tylor – Wife asking for direction to help a friend (Meghan) who has lost a six-month-old baby.
